Current Politics: Trustees V.S. The Supreme Court

What really looks like a one-sided battle, is between the supreme court of India and the trustees of Padmabhaswamy temple; the managers and the royal family of Travancore.

The trustees, staying loyal to the temple and lord Padmabhaswamy, are religiously protecting the treasure so that it stays locked inside the temple, whereas the supreme court’s rationale is to audit it and bring it in an accountable state so it can be maintained safely.

The battle was of course lead, taken, initiated and won by the supreme court, and it had listed all the treasures through a committee of auditors.

While everyone’s eyeing the treasure, it is secure in the temple and it seems as if it is indeed in the safest hands possible.
