Also known as deepest caves in the country, Borra Caves is located in the Ananthagiri hills of the Araku Valley, which is around 90 km away from the Visakhapatnam city. William King, a British Geologist discovered this million years old cave back in 1807 and since then, it is one of the favorite destinations among tourist. Also, Borra Caves are the biggest of all the caves found in India
In addition to that, this cave is a unique creation of nature where the Goasthani river flows through the caves between the formation creating a beautiful picture-perfect landscape. The natural formation of rocks and the waterfalls make you feel that you’re in a different world once you are inside the caves.

Situated around 115 km away from the city and 30 km north of Borra Caves, Araku Valley is a perfect weekend gateway for local people. It is home to a large number of tribes and therefore, commonly known as “Home of Tribes”.
Additionally, the tribes living here are not influenced by the modern world and has kept their culture alive. Once you are there, pay a visit to the Museum of Tribal Arts. Araku Valley is located 3200 square foot above sea level with the scenic waterfalls and streams, lush green valleys, mountains, tunnels and so on.
